Chest Rub for Colds
If you are looking for a respiratory relief, look no further! This chest rub combines the powerful ingredients of menthol, eucalyptus essential oil, camphor essential oil, and rosemary essential oil to pack a powerful punch against respiratory illnesses. TO USE: apply to the chest, throat, and back during times of respiratory illness. Apply up to 4x a day. Do not apply to nasal passageways. You can cover the area with a warm, warm dry cloth, or keep your clothing loose so that the vapers can reach your respiratory system. During times of acute illness, another method for inhalation is to place a pot on the stove and bring a quart of water to a gentle simmer. Place a bean-sized amount of the chest rub into the simmering water, and place your face close enough to inhale the vapors. You may also place a towel over your head to direct the steam to your nasal passageways. You can also apply the chest rub to your chest and take a hot bath to encourage the vapors to become steam. This product is not intended for young children due to a component in the essential oils called 1,8 cinole, which should not be applied to the face older nasal passageways of young children. As with all medicinal application of herbs, it is recommended that you do your own research and determine what is best for your family. Some people apply this to the souls of the feet and back of children who are 2 years of age and older, and they apply it to the chest of children 6+.
